For LaTeX users
Bring your LaTeX project. Carry on writing today.
Whether your editor is closing or you simply want a better home for a paper, moving takes one file. Download your project as a .zip, upload it here, and it opens beside its PDF.
The Free plan needs no card, and you can export the complete project at any time.
Three steps, and the PDF is there
Your .tex files, .bib files, figures and any class files of your own come across together, and the project compiles as soon as it opens.
- Download the project's source files as a .zip from the editor you use now.
- Create a free account, and choose that .zip.
- Check the PDF, then carry on writing.

What Manulyx does with your files
A real project is rarely one tidy file, so the import looks at what is actually there.
- Finds the main file, even with a response letter and an old draft beside it. You can change it in one click.
- Keeps your folders, so paths to figures and chapters still work.
- Unwraps the single folder that most zip tools add.
- Compiles with pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX. Choose the one your project needs in Settings.
- Names any package that is missing, rather than leaving you to read the log.
What a .zip does not carry
A .zip holds your files and nothing else, wherever it comes from. Keep your original export as a backup until you have checked the PDF.
- Your project's past versions and comments stay behind. Your history here starts from the import.
- Co-authors come across by invitation: use Share. They do not need a paid plan, and the Free plan includes one collaborator per project.
- Reconnect Zotero or Mendeley in the Integrations panel. Your .bib file comes with the project.
- Import one project at a time. A .zip of several projects would arrive as one project.
Then, more than a place to write
Once the paper is here, the rest of its life is too: submission checks, the version you sent kept read-only, every reviewer comment answered in a drafted response letter, and the final files.

Only have a Word file or a PDF?
The import takes those too. A Word manuscript becomes a LaTeX project, and a PDF can be rebuilt with AI when no source survives.
